So many terms unfamiliar. I especially appreciate that he asked me if I understood the most important information before moving on. For instance, he wanted to make sure that I understood what was covered by the warranty and what was not. In short, he wasn’t pushy or condescending. I actually felt he put my satisfaction ahead of just selling a car.

Set a meeting with a sales rep the week prior, day of
Set a meeting with a sales rep the week prior, day of they were completely unprepared. It was previously said in emails price was negotiable and dealer fee is not set in stone, I show up and they say the $1200 fee is non negotiable as well as their $3k care package. The car was listed for $16.5k, but after everything it came out to about $26k During talks, they then said we should find a cheaper car despite their deception on the real price compared to the listed value. For their care package they claimed an interior protection and exterior protection was applied, but yet previous dealer decal residue was present, and dog hair and urine smell was still inside the car. After being ready to leave they finally agreed to a fair price but during financing tricked us into a much higher price and won't contact me back. We agreed to $12.7k financed with $6k down, and during the paperwork they showed us an $18.8k figure and said they price would then reflect the 6k taken off at the end of everything. Later found out it was a lie and they are charging us the financed $18.8k plus the money down, for a total paid of $24k. TLDR, this dealership uses deceptive sales techniques, doesn't keep their word, and stay far away from it.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Al Hendrickson Toyota in Coconut Creek, primarily due to the terrible service provided by Marcos Esquenazi. He rushed me through the entire process, failed to explain anything, and pressured me into signing documents without proper clarification. I purchased a 2025 Toyota Corolla, and due to the dealership’s negligence, the car had issues from the start. When I spoke to a manager over the phone, they assured me they would take care of it. However, after driving over 100 miles back to the dealership, they failed to resolve the issue. It became clear that the management does not care about their customers. Key issues I encountered: • I was not given essential documentation, including details about the Service Warranty, Gap Insurance, and Contractual Terms. • There was no clear explanation of the purchase price, trade-in value, total cost, interest rate, or loan term before finalizing the agreement. • The vehicle was delivered in poor condition—it had visible scratches and was not properly detailed. • Despite promises from management, my concerns were ignored, and the issue was left unresolved. Overall, this was the worst dealership experience I’ve ever had. They are more focused on financial gain than on customer satisfaction. I would not recommend Al Hendrickson Toyota to anyone looking for a professional and transparent car-buying experience.

It should not take 4 1/2 hours to purchase a used car, especially when you come in wanting the car in your advertisement. I waited over 2 hours for my test drive. I had to haggle for about 2 more hours and finally ended up paying $2000 more than the advertised price. ( I accept the taxes, but bogus fees, add ons that should have been included in the asking price since the car already had them. And some were not even available because the auto was past the time and/or mileage limits allowed. You even added $1000 to the advertised price. ( Your salesman was forced to look at the advertisement online to see that I was quoting the price that you advertised the car for online. Only Brenden and my desire for that particular auto kept me from leaving. I now wait for you to repair the roof leak that I only discovered because it happened to rain during my test drive, otherwise my "as is" purchase would have left me responsible for the repair. I am left to pray that I have not made a huge mistake.

On the other hand, Al Hendrickson tries to scam good customers by forcing them to agree to a non-negotiable $1995 advantage package that includes "nitrogen" in the tires. I asked them to prove there was 100% nitrogen in the tires and they agreed they couldn't. (Earths atmosphere, our air, is naturally 78% nitrogen anyway) so this is a useless upgrade. They include RainX on the windshield, If I could opt out of a 1995 RainX I would. And then and over/under bet that if your car gets stolen or totaled within 90 days, Al will credit you $2,500 towards a new car. If it gets stolen or totaled on the 91st day, the house keeps all the money. Go anywhere but Al unless they agree to provide independent proof by calibrated measurements that the tire are filled with nitrogen (they can't). And the 90 day over/under bet is illegal gaming and the state of Florida should shut them down.

I’m an experienced buyer and I was up front with your staff as a result we were able to purchase the vehicle easily. That being said, there were two issues. There were no sensors in the tires so my light came on to check air pressure as well as charging system. I had the vehicle checked out and confirmed that someone probably swapped wheels and never put in sensors. This didn’t show up because the codes were possibly erased and the reason they didn’t come on when we tested the vehicle.

The sales person, Yokosta Vallejo, was very accomodating, polite, patient and respectful throughout the entire process and she did everything possible to negotiate a good deal. She brought over sales personnel who obviously had the authority and ability to negotiate what I believe was a very fair price (including providiing a fair price for my trade in vehicle). And your finance people were excellent. Once I finally agreed to the "out the door" price, the paperwork was drawn up quickly and efficiently. I truly believe that had it not been for Yocasta, I probably would not have purchased the vehicle.

Absolutely, here’s a detailed and professional review you can post or send — expressing your frustrations clearly and firmly while covering all the key issues: ⸻ Review of Al Hendrickson Toyota – Coconut Creek, FL I normally try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but my experience with Al Hendrickson Toyota was truly one of the most miserable and frustrating car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. I spent nine exhausting hours at the dealership — yes, nine hours — feeling like I was being held hostage while they tried to get financing approved. I wasn’t able to access my own bank funds that day, but I returned the following day with a check to pay the car off. Regardless, they dragged the process out unnecessarily and left me mentally drained. What’s worse is the total lack of support or communication I’ve received since. Once the sale was made, it’s like I stopped existing to them. I’ve asked multiple questions about the vehicle — no one will return a call or give a straight answer. They also sold me a $1,000 warranty that I was led to believe would be useful — only to find out it can only be used at their dealership, which is three hours away from where I live. That was a complete waste of money, and no one disclosed that at the time of purchase. In addition, the car has several unresolved tech issues that no one is helping me with: • Why is there open-source licensing showing up on my head unit/radio? • Why doesn’t it connect to wireless Apple CarPlay as advertised? • Why are there QR code stickers on my windshield that don’t scan or lead to any helpful information? • Why doesn’t my Toyota Connect app allow remote start or link properly? • Why isn’t the Safety Connect app functioning for critical safety features? This was supposed to be a major purchase and a positive milestone, but instead it has caused nothing but stress, inconvenience, and disappointment. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. The customer service is non-existent once they have your money. It feels like I was misled on multiple fronts, and now I’m left with a car I can’t fully use and a warranty I can’t take advantage of. Buyer beware.

I feel when it was under the old dealership, it was being
I feel when it was under the old dealership, it was being run properly. Now that’s under new management, the waiting area first off is terrible. They have sports blasting in there (only pertaining to the men, not going for men and women) where it’s hard to make a phone call . The seating arrangement is terrible and very uncomfortable if you have to sit there for 5 hours. The chairs that were there before at least were somewhat comfy but it looks run down and is uncomfortable. The vending machine is terrible all unhealthy food and the drinks are all unhealthy. Plus the constant phone calls to sell your car while getting service done on your car is terrible. It’s like I’m getting harassed to sell my car because you guys are not getting enough business. Like change back how it use to be because your dealership is going downhill as time goes on. I bought over 10 cars with Al Hendrickson for almost 10 years and I’ve never seen the dealership being run so poorly. Plus you have no accessories for the car anymore like as far as wheel covers or anything else we would need for the car. The only good thing I can say is at least my car gets fixed and my service guy CJ is there but the overall atmosphere is horrendous.

I purchased a vehicle from there, something was off. I didn’t like the vehicle. So on the 3rd day I reached out to the finance manager and let him know. Can I return the vehicle because I don’t like it. He said no I can’t return it. So I start going research. I called my bank and was informed by them that the deal is still pending and I can still cancel the deal. So I then reach out to the general manager who said yes I can return the car as long as I didn’t drive to Alaska with it. And I will get my full deposit refunded back to me. Finance manager was not happy. I returned the car that day. Finance manager refused to answer any of my text messages, when I finally get a hold of him he said to leave him alone, he then blocks me. I’m still waiting on an answer for my $2,000 refund. when I called him from a different number he hangs up in my face. He is just rude and disrespectful. You can still sell the car to someone else and make money off of them. I call the dealership multiple times just getting the run around. One day I was fed up, my next step was to either call the police to go to the dealership with me or sue the dealership because it was going on 2 weeks and nobody could give me an update. That’s when another manager said oh I will work on getting the check cut for you and mail it over night. I finally received my check.

Prince McMahon was the sales rep.
Prince McMahon was the sales rep. in the Used Car Dept. of Al Hendrickson Toyota that sold me a 2021 Toyota Tundra XP. Prince only provided me with one key for a truck that cost me nearly $50,000. I asked for a 2nd key. Prince promised he would provide me with a 2nd key and stated it was late and he wouldn't be able to get the service dept to cut and program a 2nd key at that late hour. Prince told me he would call to make arrangements for me to obtain another key at a dealership near my home, which was 3.5 hours from Al Hendrickson Toyota. Prince never called me back and never made arrangements for me to obtain a 2nd key. I followed up 20+ times with phone calls and texts to Prince and many others working at Al Hendrickson Toyota. Each time I called, the customer service representative would take a message, but Prince never called me back. After texting him many times, Prince told me I couldn't get a 2nd key. To add insult to injury, when Prince and I we were walking back inside to close out the sale, one of Prince's co-worker's asked Prince, "what does XP mean on the Toyota Tundra?" Prince's response was, "that means 'EXTRA EXPENSIVE... EXTRA, EXTRA EXPENSIVE!'" as Prince and 5-6 Sales Reps laughed and laughed. Not funny. Unprofessional. Rude and Cheap. Prince bragged about Al Hendrickson being the biggest Toyota Dealership in the country.... and I couldn't get a 2nd key after spending nearly $50,000??? During the 5+ hours I spent at Al Hendrickson Toyota that evening, I was sitting at a desk across from multiple employees, who would yell at the top of their lungs to beckon their co-workers. When I was signing the papers in the Financing Dept I told the Finance rep I only wanted a tire warranty. He repeatedly tried to sell me other warranties after I stated, "No thank you. I just want a tire warranty." He wouldn't sell me the tire warranty. Why? Al Hendrickson Toyota was staffed with innumerable, unprofessional and rude people. It took ~2 months, many phone calls and many, many hours waiting on hold, to scratch and claw, in order to get a 2nd key from them... .... for a truck that cost nearly $50,000. After all of these bad experiences no one at Al Hendrickson Toyota offered any consolation for the myriad of rude and unprofessional behavior by their staff, and all the wasted hours I spent trying to get a 2nd key. After only a few thousand miles there's a really bad vibration that occurs every time I apply the brakes . Al Hendrickson's Toyota claimed there were new brake pads and rotors installed, but records show the rotors were turned (sanded down). A horrible experience.

I don’t like fraudulent advertising. Advertising a car at one price and then sliding in a $2000 bogus “advantage’ charge. If you want $2000 more for the price of the advertised car then put it in the price and advertise as such. If obviously expected a dealer fee so that was no surprise. The icing on the cake is to be told “all dealers do this”!? Then giving you rock bottom for your trade in. Then being forced into buying a $5000 warranty that you don’t want. I think I’m going to have a lawyer look over my paperwork. I should have bought from a private owner.

After reviewing the documents they sent over they completely lied about trying to help my mother and tried to make me the actual buyer instead of the co signer. I then told my mother that I would not sign the documents because that's not what we agreed. The next day I find out my mother walk out with the vehicle she was interested in without my signature, clearly this dealership Forged my signature to allow my mother to leave with the car and lied saying I sign for it when I actually didn't. I don't trust them, take full advantage of individual situation so they can make a profit and it's not right. I will he getting a lawyer if my mother can get this problem resolved by tomorrow.

He was told repeatedly that my bank of interest is Space Coast Credit Union. To which he agreed. He said AL HENDRICKSON deals with that bank, so there's was no need to apply to any other bank. I emphasized that I only want my credit run once for the said bank. Shortly after purchasing the 2021 RAV4, I kept receiving numerous banking institutes denying me approval to purchase the said car. It cost me a 67 decrease on my credit report. I tried to get it resolved at the dealer location but to no avail. No one returned my calls.

Staff was completely unprofessional, passive aggressive and rude. Denied me the right to speak to a manager. When I did speak to a manager, he stated he “did not want to hurt my feelings or upset me” when I tried to negotiate pricing. Completely inappropriate and unrelated to the deal. Salesperson quit through text, which caused me to be paired with a new salesperson and re-do paperwork. I was told different information in sales vs finance. Finance manager was not honest about warranty packages which caused price of vehicle to skyrocket. I had to go back 2 days later with reinforcement to make changes to contract and get a proper number. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism at a dealership in my life. Won’t be back and will NOT refer anyone to this dealership.

I went into the dealership on a whim.
I went into the dealership on a whim. I really only intended to test drive a new 2025 Camry LE. I met with a variety of people but the Sales Agent that spent the most time with me was Yokasta Vallejo. Yokasta explained that they had no LEs on the lot but she brought out a Camry SE for a test drive. I was impressed with the way the car drove but I felt the SE was beyond what I really was looking to spend. Well, Yokasta diligently did everything she could do to give me every incentive or deal that the dealership (Al Hendrickson) and Toyota offered. She also had me speak to various associates who I assume had the authority to approve additional incentives and offer me more for my car as a trade-in. Ultimately, I ended up purchasing the Camry SE that I test drove with Yokasta even though I ended up spending more money than I initially intended to. I doubt that I would have purchased the car had it not been for Yokasta and her perseverence. She was always pleasant, Always respectful, never showed impatience or aggravation and expended considerable time and effort to get me the best possible deal she could. When we ultimately did agree on an "out the door" price, she turned me over to someone who had all the paperwork in order and ready for my signature. I definitely appreciate her efforts and I drove away in my new Camry SE believing that I got a fair deal.

The sales person, Yokosta Vallejo, was very accomodating, polite, patient and respectful throughout the entire process and she did everything possible to negotiate a good deal. She brought over sales personnel who obviously had the authority and ability to negotiate what I believe was a very fair price (including providiing a fair price for my trade in vehicle). And your finance people were excellent. Once I finally agreed to the "out the door" price, the paperwork was drawn up quickly and efficiently. I truly believe that had it not been for Yocasta, I probably would not have purchased the vehicle.

After having an appointment with a different salesperson we were changed to Dylan. The first salesperson, Christain was only there a week and it showed. We came in with the carfax of the cars we were interested in seeing. After waiting over an hour for him to try to locate the cars, I went up to the desk and told them we now wasted over an hour and were leaving with never seeing a car. Natty asked us to give them a chance and she would make the numbers work herself. All of a sudden he came back with one of the cars we wanted to see. He could not find the others?? Really??? We test drove them and another car was found for us to test drive. In the mean time he wanted my grandson to fill out a credit application without even having a car to see. We had another appointment to see others cars and left. Before we left we were asked by a Roberto what they could do to earn our business. At this time there was nothing. We went back later that evening and was introduced to Dylan. We negotiated the car, Natty did not make the numbers work at all. All was done was the fee for some kit that is useless was reduced. That is not working with us. Luis also was involved with the negations along with Roberto. I told them from the start we were not going to do the back and forth game. They price of the car was higher then we wanted, they refused to work with us. At one point they were going to reduce it by 650.00 but then refused. We started the credit application and was told it would not take long, it was already after 9:00 PM. We went to see Ramon in finance after that, at that time I wanted to return the next day and asked them to save the application. I was told by Luis they could not do that and it would need to be started all over the next day. At this time we were pressured by Luis to complete the sale. We drove off with the car after 11:00 PM. When we got home we discovered there was no trunk mat in the car, the car was dirty from liquid being spilled in it and trash in the back. The registration from the previous owner was still in the glove box, the contact list and phone were still there also from the previous owner. This all should have been taken care of before selling a car. The upholstery was dirty and we were told by the first salesmen it would be cleaned. We asked Dylan about that and he said not that is not done. The next day we had to go back for what should have been done originally and waste more time at the dealership. Obvious the car was not prepared properly. The salesman need to educated on what is done and what is not done. THIS IS WHY THE LOW RATING AND I WOULD NOT REURN TO THE DEALERSHIP. scammers, when buying a car, part of the deal was a gift
scammers, when buying a car, part of the deal was a gift of 4 new tires for the car, for which they also sold me a package for Al handricson for 3 thousand with the condition of providing new tires, not only did they inflate the price by almost 9 thousand, they also refused provide rubber, in a word the worst experience

We leased a 2025 Toyota Camry from Al Hendrickson Toyota
We leased a 2025 Toyota Camry from Al Hendrickson Toyota (5201 W Sample Road) and were told that as part of the deal, they would cover the remaining three monthly payments on our Cadillac lease. About two weeks after we picked up the Camry, the dealership called asking for the Cadillac's VIN and account number—information we had already provided at the time of the lease signing. Two weeks after that, they called again asking for the same details. I gave them the information again and let them know that my wife had made the three payments herself to protect our credit. They told us they would send a reimbursement check. It’s also important to note that my wife reminded me the agreement was for three payments, not two. Despite repeated follow-ups, we have received no response or reimbursement from Al Hendrickson. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

I had a great purchasing experience and am satisfied with my car. There was a lot of quality inventory available for me to shop from and my sales rep helped me understand cost/monthly payment expectations appropriately. We test drove 2 vehicles and the sales rep provided me with details about each vehicle for my better understanding. Once car was selected, we moved over to the financing process, which was also smooth. I would shop with Al Hendrickson Pre-owned team again and refer others to use them for their car purchases.
